Top ten languages in the world by the number speakers

10. French
French is the first language fro the people of Belgium, Canada, Rwanda, Cameroon, Haiti and France too. Number of speakers of French is 129 million.

9.Malaya
This language is spoken in Indonesia and in Malaysia. To say hello in Malaya say "selamat pagi". Indonesia is a pleasant country consisting of 13,000 islands. Number of speakers is 159 million.

8.Portuguese
Can yo believe Portuguese was spoken by more than 191million people but it was spoken only in one country, Portugal. To say hello in Portuguese say "Bom dai"

7.Bengali
Its the first language for Bangladeshi people. The population of Bangladesh is 120+ million, but the language was spoken in India also. so the total speakers of this language was 211 million. To say hello in Bengali say "Ei Je"

6.Arabic
Arabic is spoken in the middle east, with speakers found in Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt. Number of speakers is more than 246 million and its one of the oldest language in the world. To say hello say "Al Sallam a'alykum".

5.Russian
Russian is not only spoken in Russia, but also in some parts of U.S, Belarus, Kazakhstan. Total number of speakers is 277 million. Say "Zdravstvuite" for sayinh hello in Russian.

4.Spanish
Spanish is not only spoken in Spain but also in Southern and central American countries, Cuba and in U.S.Many words of English are being derived from Spanish only, which makes U.S people to show more interest in learning Spanish. Total number of speakers is 392 million. To say hello say "Hola"

3.Hindustani
It is the first language of densely populated country India. Learning Hindi is very easy which makes foreigners to come India to learn this language. Number of speakers for this language is 497 million. To say hello in this language say "Namsthae"

2.English
English is the common language over the world but still its in the second place. Although English is common in most of the countries only England people were called as English People, because they are the parents of this language. More than 508 million globally speaks English

1.Mandarin
Its a big surprise that Mandarin holds the first place in the list. Mandarin is the first language of Chinese and it was spoken only in China. Learning Mandarin is very difficult because each word will have 4 tones. For a beginner it will be very difficult to distinguish between the tones. The language is spoken by 1 billion+ people, which is double the amount of English speaking people. In Mandarin, to say hello say "Ni hao".
