Rain interfered the final day of the test match when Newzealand were forced for another test defeat. The team was 8 down when the rain came down to stop the test match being played further and there was more than 30 overs to be bowled. However team India won the series by 1-0 in the 3 match test series. Its their test series victory in Newzealand soil after 42 years. India also won the odi series by 3-1 in spite they lost the T-20 series by 0-2. Gautam Gambhir was chosen as the man of the match for his167 in the second innings. Congrats Team India
